Incident Response Workshop: What Schools Need to Know and Do Before and After a Cyber Attack

The Cyber Incident Response (IR) Workshop is full day, comprehensive event that will help K-12 IT and security administrators understand what to do before, during, and after a ransomware attack or breach.

The morning session will be led by industry IR leaders who will coach you from preparation to post-incident activities after an attack.

The afternoon session will be a hands-on IR/breach exercise presented by Microsoft. You will navigate a virtual environment that has suffered a ransomware attack and learn what to look for in this type of scenario.

By the end of the day you will have completed the new K12 SIX incident response runbook and understand how to use it in the event of an incident.
